I made a personal decision over a year ago to stop drinking. Not because I have a drinking problem, but rather because I was having a lot of anxiety and didn’t feel like alcohol was doing me too many favors in that area. I was curious. Sober curious.
In today’s episode, I’m talking about why I stopped drinking and how that decision has made me feel (both physically and mentally), as well as what it’s like to be sober in a world where so many social situations revolve around drinking. Have I experienced judgment? Yes. Have people asked if I’m pregnant? Also yes.
Regardless of others’ thoughts, this has been the right decision for me in this season of life, and I’m also sharing some tips for what has helped me enjoy being social without drinking.
I’d love to hear from you if you’re also interested in being sober curious. So, as always, send me a DM @morethannicolej on Instagram! I love talking business with you guys more than anything, and I can’t wait to hear from you!
